Four Seasons
The joy of Spring,
Freshness in the air
New buds on the trees
Long, lazy days
The birth of Summer
Its warm, gentle touch
Smiles and sunshine and ice-cream faces
Barbecues sizzle on sun-screen shores
Autumn changes everything
Green leaves; now red, now dead
Days are short, shirt-sleeves now long
A bite in the air
Winter gloom and long dark nights
Snowmen and sleds; hot drinks and warm beds
The festive cheer brings soon, another year
